Entre Rios do Oeste is a municipality located in the state of Paraná, Brazil, founded in 1990. The city originated from the former District of Porto São José, which emerged around 1950 as a camp for workers of the construction company of the São Paulo - Paraná Railroad.In 1987, the region was renamed Entre Rios, in reference to its location between the Paraná and Paranazão rivers. The political-administrative emancipation of Entre Rios do Oeste took place in 1990, becoming a municipality with the merger of the district of Porto São José and areas detached from Marechal Cândido Rondon.Currently, Entre Rios do Oeste stands out for its strong agricultural economy, with cultivation of corn, soybeans, wheat, and cassava, as well as livestock farming.
